I am a witness; I want my testimony to be honest and uncensored,
I also want it to be powerful and eloquent and
to do as much justice as possible to the experiences
of the people I’m photographing
– James Natchtwey
I have had to come to term with that to the fact that I am a terrible blogger! I gave it my best attempt but never felt that I was doing the stories justice. With the words of legendary war photographer James Natchwey hanging over my head I am reminded that the written word is not the only way to tell a story.
For the next 6 months I have committed to posting a collection of picture; moments of overwhelming joy, sorrow, pain, pride and beauty captured in my honest and uncensored attempt to tell my story and those of the ones I love.
